Chair Massage:
Chair massage utilizes acupressure and Swedish massage to relieve tension. Though beginning at a slower pace, the work moves a little faster as the therapist proceeds. The session ends with quick, revitalizing strokes in order to bring the client back to the state of full consciousness.

Esoteric Healing:    www.esoterichealing.com/intro.html

Cancer Massage:
Cancer patients are special people with special needs. Besides general relaxation, massaging a cancer patient can decrease pain perception, nausea, fatigue, anxiety and depression, as documented in studies such as: “Massage Therapy for Symptom Control: Outcome Study at a Major Cancer Center,” by Barrie R. Cassileth, Ph.D., and Andrew J. Vickers, PH.D., of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, Journal of Pain and Symptom Management, September 2004, Vol. 28, No. 3, pp. 244-249. Be certain that the massage therapist you chose has training in Medical Massage for the Cancer Patient.

Complementary therapies, such as massage, are not substitutes for mainstream medical care; they are used along with traditional medical treatment to help alleviate stress, reduce pain and anxiety, manage symptoms, and promote a feeling of well-being. Client comment: "a little piece of heaven",
